The 20th Annual Tarrant County Back to School Roundup will take place in August 2026 at Tarrant County College South Campus in Fort Worth. This community event helps thousands of local students start the school year prepared by providing free school supplies and essential services to eligible families.

The Roundup is a collaborative effort made possible through the support of Tarrant County, local school districts, the City of Fort Worth, public health agencies, nonprofit organizations, corporate sponsors, and dedicated volunteers.

Families must pre-register for this years event. 
Families not pre-registered will not be admitted to the event.

School Supplies

School supplies will be provided to eligible students in grades pre-K through 12th attending any public school in Tarrant County. Backpacks will also be provided to children grades pre-K through 5th grade.

  • Free school supplies will be given to approximately 5,000 students in pre-K through 12th grade
  • Backpacks will also be provided to children grades pre-K through 5th grade

Who Qualifies?

Recipients of free school supplies must be school children from the ages of 3 – 18 who reside in Tarrant County, and whose families meet the 2025 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
