August 2, 2024 Tarrant County College South Campus

The 18th Annual Tarrant County Back to School Roundup is scheduled for Friday, August 2 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Tarrant County College South Campus in Fort Worth. The event provides schoolchildren and their families with school supplies and other “back to school essentials” necessary to return to school ready, and equipped, for a successful academic year. The Roundup is a collaborative effort between Tarrant County, the county’s 20 school districts, the City of Fort Worth, public health department, state agencies, non-profit organizations, corporations and volunteers.

Families must pre-register for this years event. 
Families not pre-registered will not be admitted to the event.

School Supplies

School supplies will be provided to eligible students in grades pre-K through 12th attending any public school in Tarrant County. Backpacks will also be provided to children grades pre-K through 5th grade.

  • Free school supplies will be given to approximately 5,000 students in pre-K through 12th grade
  • Backpacks will also be provided to children grades pre-K through 5th grade

Who Qualifies?

Recipients of free school supplies must be school children from the ages of 3 – 18 who reside in Tarrant County, and whose families meet the 2024 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
