We are no longer accepting volunteers.
The Tarrant County Back to School Roundup depends on volunteers to carry out Roundup services and festivities.
Each year, over 300 volunteers come together the day of the event to help distribute school supplies, direct attendees, and help with other logistics.
Volunteers, including board members, must complete a volunteer application and a background check yearly to make sure the children that attend our event are safe and secure. The Board of Directors has agreed to follow the Texas Government Code 2109 which mandates school districts require all volunteers to pass a Criminal Background Check. Once volunteer applications are submitted and background checks complete, volunteers are assigned a station for the day of the event. Volunteers are asked to attend training, either in–person or online. They receive event t-shirts to wear the day of the event and refreshments are served throughout the day.
